Simple Cooking Instructions for Darbari Rice
1. Rinse the rice several times with cold water until the water runs clear.
2. Soak in salted water for 30 to 60 minutes.
3. Bring water to a boil in a pot, add the rice and cook for 7–10 minutes until slightly tender.
4. Drain the rice and place it in a pot with a bit of oil or butter to steam.
5. Steam over low heat for 30–45 minutes until fully cooked and aromatic.
